Product Description Opteka High Definition² Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filters create dramatic color for high visual impact. They darken blue skies, saturate colors, and reduce glare and reflections from water or glass by using an Opteka rotating polarizer. Simply look through your viewfinder as you rotate the filter and stop when you reach the desired effect. Ideal for shooting in bright sun, at beaches, snow, etc. Advances in high-index / low-dispersion optical glasses, new barrel materials, and exotic anti-reflection coatings, along with the latest in computer-aided-design / computer-aided-manufacturing, are combined to produce lenses of unprecedented quality. Nothing changes the way you see the world like High Definition², and no company does High Definition² like Opteka. In the professional setting, Opteka's glass optics define High Definition. Change the way you view the world. Enjoy outstanding detail, enjoy enhanced clarity, enjoy Opteka.

| Customer Reviews: Not worth the price. April 18, 2010 P. Beck (Newfoundland, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this CPL to use on my Canon S5IS. My camera will not focus properly with this filter in place. Zooming in on the pictures shows that all the fine details are smudged making the overall picture look blurry. I would recommend you spend a couple of extra dollars and buy a better brand, that's what I am doing.
Degrades Image Quality January 7, 2010 R. Cederholm (Madison, WI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased this for a trip to San Francisco and tried using it for my Canon 70-300IS (non-DO) lens. It degraded the image quality to the point where pictures were no longer sharp (it blurred out all the detail). I would strongly recommend not being cheap and purchasing a higher quality filter.
It's good! February 11, 2009 SH 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I haven't used a cpl filter before so I can't compare this to anything; but it works well, and I'm satisfied :)
